IRRI-PETRRA-DFID, NATP-BARC project were provided financial support for developing Bangladesh Rice Knowledge Bank (BRKB) since 2004 to 2013. Actually, it was started in January, 2004 with the help of IRRI-PETRRA and continued up to June, 2004. Then it partially supported by IRRI Dhaka until 2008. After that BRKB was run by BRRI before NATP-BARC project funded.

Scientists of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) are being contributing in developing the Rice Fact Sheets Rice Production Training Manuals through BRKB Working Group based in BRRI.
